I’m Dana—a trainer, nutrition coach, and mom who knows firsthand how hard it is to put yourself first when life feels full. For years, I tried to “bounce back,” juggle everything, and still do it all perfectly. Spoiler: it didn’t work.

After years of starting over, I finally realized what I needed wasn’t another “all-in” plan—it was something sustainable. Something real. Now, I help other women do the same through smart strength training, nutrition coaching, and real-life routines that make you feel strong, confident, and grounded—without the guilt.

This all started after having my second child, when I realized that constantly trying to “get back to my old self” was doing more harm than good. I didn’t want to live in survival mode—I wanted to feel strong now, in the season I was in.

That’s why I built DO Coaching Co.—a place for women to be seen, supported, and challenged in a way that works for real life.

As a coach, I believe in progress over perfection.
As a mom, I know that "perfect" rarely exists.

Everything I offer is designed to meet you where you are—with workouts you can do at home or the gym, nutrition support that fits your schedule (and sanity), and the flexibility to show up imperfectly and still succeed.

2015

Running on Empty

Early mornings, late nights, and little time for me. Right out of college, I was working as an on-camera morning meteorologist. It looked exciting from the outside—but behind the scenes, I was exhausted and constantly putting myself last.

2017

An Adventure of a Lifetime

I left my career to follow my heart. My now husband took his professional hockey career overseas, and I decided to go with him.  It was during this first year overseas that I decided I wanted to start something new.  I got certified through NASM as a Personal Trainer in the summer of 2018.

2019

Motherhood Changed Everything

I had my first baby and realized how little support actually existed for new moms. My NASM certification didn’t even scratch the surface of what women truly need during pregnancy and postpartum. So I went deeper—studied more, got my Pre/Postnatal certification, and committed to helping women feel strong through every stage.

2021

A Shift in Focus

At the end of 2021, I had just given birth via c-section to our second child.  It was in this moment that I told myself I wanted to do things differently.  I shifted my focus from sweaty, circuit-styled training to lifting weights with progressive overload and focusing on nutrition as well.

2023

Deepening the Work

I became a certified nutrition coach through NASM in 2022, but wanted to dive deeper into Macro Nutrition, so I took another nutrition course through Macro Mentorship to become a certified Macro Nutrition Coach.  This opened new doors for my business as a whole!
